The United Dance Merchants of America (UDMA), an organization that encourages the growth and development of dance, has named the Southern Association of Dance Masters (SADM) as one of the 2010 recipients of the Dedicated to Dance Award. This new, annual honor is being awarded to organizations and/or people who have shown untiring, remarkable dedication to the dance industry and who have fulfilled the needs of dance studios and dance teachers through extraordinary means. SADM is one of five nationwide recipients that was honored at the UDMA Dance Resource and Costume Show in Atlanta in September.
